Ron Darling back in the TBS saddle for playoffs
TBS announced its postseason announcing roster today.
The four play-by-play men for the division series: Chip Caray, Dick Stockton, Don Orsillo, Brian Anderson.
The game analysts for the division series: Ron Darling, Buck Martinez, Tony Gwynn, Joe Simpson, John Smoltz, Harold Reynolds.
The studio team for the division series: Ernie Johnson, Cal Ripken, Dennis Eckersley, Curtis Granderson.
Former Newsday scribe Tom Verducci will serve as an "insider." Craig Sager, Marc Fein and David Aldridge will be field reporters.
TBS lists the ALCS booth as Caray, Martinez and Darling, but I am looking into whether Ron would be available if the Mets reach the NLCS and he is busy with SNY's pre- and post-game stuff.
The news release made no mention of Alyssa Milano, who contributed to TBS' on-line coverage last fall.
