ESPN reportedly set to tab Matthew Barnaby for studio
Matthew Barnaby evidently is headed to Bristol to replace Barry Melrose as ESPN's lead studio analyst for the NHL.
Barnaby, whose name came up early in the discussion, is a fine choice. But he should go with the mullet look to ease viewers' transition from Melrose.

Barnaby was a commentator for TSN this past playoffs and TSN of course is owned by ESPN.
He has been an interesting fellow. I mean who could call Lyle Odelein "Cornelius" from The Planet Of The Apes on the fly? Plus whenever he is on ESPN can have a montage of some of his fights that are absolutely hilarious but then again I rate hockey rights to the equal of Japanese Game Shows on Youtube.
