Watchdog

Just received my review copy of Tom Coughlin's new book, due in your neighborhood book store Sept. 2.

I'm only 17 pages into it so far, but that was enough to get to the most important part: the two paragraphs describing my February, 2007, meeting with TC concerning media relations.

"I take notes as we talk,'' Coughlin wrote. "He is candid with me, which I respect, and even a bit humorous."

TC finds me humorous! A bit.

Seriously, I appreciated Coach Coughlin valuing my opinion at the time, and I appreciate him acknowledging our chat for posterity. The check for my Super Bowl share evidently was lost in the mail.
