Friday comment contest winner
This week's Friday comment contest winner is bgl-in-slc, who originally is from Bay Shore but about 20 years ago doubled the Jewish population of Salt Lake City with his pioneering move West.
Here is his response to Wednesday's post about the prominent Jewish presence on the U.S. swim team in Beijing:
"Who would have thunk that our people would perform so well in the pool!?
I thought it was practically written in the Torah that you couldn't swim for a full three hours after you ate so you could fully digest your food.
How in the world do these people have time to practice???"
