Russ Salzberg a candidate for Giants radio gig
Two birdies, one singing in each ear, gave me this interesting tidbit:
With Chris Carlin no longer doing the pre- and post-game stuff for Giants games on WFAN this season, it appears Russ Salzberg is among the leading candidates to replace him.
That's it. I guess that won't be of much interest to members of WatchDog Nation from outside the NY area. Sorry. It's a New York-centric blog. Thanks for reading anyway.

Will Steve Somers join him, thus resurrecting "The Sweater and the Schmoozer"?
Neil- that's one less W2 that Carlin has to file on his tax returns next year. How many W2s will have now? 7?
neil....you are supposed to be on top of things. what do you mean it appears? its been mentioned plenty of times the past few months he is not doing both.
Neil,
Chris "Eight Jobs" Carlin is also going to give up playing "Jehpahdy" with Dumb and Blonde in the Morning.
A little buhdie told me that.
Also, I have a lot of neighbuhs that are Asian doctuhs.
Manhasset, that's not a good job, that's a great job outta you in that spot.
Comedy: You're right. I will fix wording. The Russ part is what is new.
Neil ---- Did Warner Wolf get let go at ESPN Radio? Imus was alluding to something along that line all morning today....that is sports radio news, isn't it?
Russ "The Sweater" Salzberg would bring a lot to the Giants pre and post-game shows. The guy is a real pro and a nice guy unlike the fat slob being replaced. I'd love to see them bring him back to the FAN and reteam him with Steve "Schmoozer" Somers to see if they could rekindle the magic.
terrible tom....why is carlin not a nice guy?
