Steve, Are 1 of Shanny or Sundin a lock for next season? It seems like Shanny is waiting on Sundin and if we sign Sundin then Shanny would go elsewhere and if no Sundin then we settle w/ Shanny. Or is it still possible we sign neither?

That said, think it's great that you provide us with the latest news, on-line chats, have contact with the team and do your job professionally. What's best is that you don't charge for this unlike Dubi at Blueshirt Bulletin who now charges if you want to get "quality" information. You can get that quality information here, or with Sam W, or with Dellaphina.

I can understand Dubi charging for his publication, Suggested to him a while back that he provides an on-line version of his publication for the same price as his printed publication. What I didn't suggest was for him to add what he calls the BB+ forum to only be available to on-line paid customers. Similar to the ESPN inside zone which you have to subscribe to for viewing those articles. Cheap stunt by Dubi in my opinion. A premium blog where everybody agrees with Dubi and Jess. That's really exciting and you pay for it too.

How do you think the Rangers rank in the East right now? Do you think they are good enough to contend? If they get Sundin, do you think that makes them favorites in the East?

1. who was running the PP Pelino or Pearn? and are you 100% sure about it?

2. Could you maybe throw in some "subtle" hints to coaches and GM that Blair Betts needs to go.

3. What will happen to Baranka?

4. What are the plans for Korpikoski, Byers, Moore and Anisimov?

I dunno why everyone seems Sundin or Shanahan is the make or break for this or any team out there.

I'm curious if we were to make a move to one or both of them, could we deal with moving Rozy to get rid of 5 mil and have 5 mainstay d-men and have 2 "7th Defenseman" type players rotating, do you think the Rangers could handle such a thing?

Rangers9, I don't know if that's in response to me, but I agree with you. You can agree that Sundin is a very good center, so I was just seeing if he would push them higher than what they would be (factoring in who they would have to move). I don't think they should go after him because of your reasoning and the fact that I like who they have now, personally. I think Rozy is gunna have a phenomenal year. He was supposed to have a breakout year but didn't really pan out. Maybe now, without Jagr and less pressure on himself, I think he will play very well, especially on the PP point.

bob, didn't Pelino? They always said that during the games. He was always their offensive guy, and Pearn was the PK/defensive guy...

Not really a response to you, Sundin is a very good player, I just don't think hes a make or break player. Check out all the responses to any Sundin article on TSN, they all think if he goes to Montreal, they'll win a cup. If He stays in Toronto they'll finally make the playoffs, and Vancouver thinks he goes there and they will finally be a contender. Sunding although is good, in this sense is a little overhyped and overrated.

And to those who wouldn't consider moving Rozy just because he was just signed...and that no one would have payed for him, ATL and LA have D-men that either need mentoring or aren't very good period, and they are below the salary floor and would need to overpay to reach the floor, shipping 5 mil in either direction could get youngsters or picks.

What is the deal with the Reebok "edge" jerseys? I heard that players were complaining that their skates and gloves were accumulating all the sweat that came off the jerseys... Are they still using them next season? Did I really waste a crap load of money?

they are continuing with the edge jersey concept just teams are given more leway to alter them like last season.

youll see even more edge jerseys this year as something along the lines of 17 teams are getting third jerseys this year. the rangers are not one of them. the islanders are (supossed to be similar to their first year jersey) and montreal will have 4 other jerseys along with their normal 2 representing all the different jerseys they have worn in their 100 year history.

personally i feel getting Sundin would be on old Rangers move...yes Sundin is very good but he is getting pretty old. Plus the Rangers would have to move a lot of space just to get him.so that means trading players for draft picks or players that will only help the wolf-Pack. Personally I'd rather Shanny over Sundin, he knows the system better and he will not cost us players or anywhere near the amount of money Sundin will.

I have had this burning itching sensation in my groin for two months and want to know if it has anything to do with the ranger's loss to pittsburgh. I also stepped in a big dog pile that the pet owner did not clean up in the meat packing district and also in chelsea. Can the rangers scouting staff get the city of new york to make sure the pet owners of manhattan will be fined substantially if they don't pick up after their dogs when they deficate? People are litterally going blind from dog droppings and the last thing we need as rangers fans is to have nigel dawes lose his vision
