Well if he would have done that at the trade deadline we wouldn't be in this situation now would we?
We would have had some younger blood on the roster, we would have had more draft picks and we would have been in a MUCH better position to make some of these trades going down.

there would have been a 6th game at MSG vs Pittsburgh with even remotely decent officiating

Cherepanov has another year on his Russian contract, he is expected for the 09-10 season

Sign Jagr -1Yr deal
Sign Sundin - 1Yr deal
Sign Redden - 3-4 Yr deal
Sign Rolston - 2-3 Yr Deal
If they cant sign JJ and MS they should look to trade for Cheechoo.

I agree with a lot of your post, however, Baranka is back to Europe for next season and Sauer is coming off a torn ligament and will begin back in Hartford after a long rehab.

Tyutin is not going to be traded and if they trade Callahan, I'll be one pissed off Dude.

if you thought that the Rangers should be sellers at the deadline, well, yes you were wrong.

Last season, Sather signed both Gomez and Drury within the first few hours of the signing bell going off. I ask was they any Ranger fan that thought prior to the opneing bell that Sather was going to sign BOTH? Of course not, and now some of you are acting as if the FA period is over and the Rangers are missing out. How silly, there is a large pool of tament in this market and as usual no one knows what Sather plans to do, so take a chill pill and at least get through the week before you start the age-old Sather bashing

Jonathan: Drury and Gomez have already said they would not be opposed to playing on the same line. Drury also played wing when in Colorado (along side Sakic and Forsberg).

You also have Sundin and Gomez on the same line, both of whom are centers... yet you are calling people stupid for putting Drury and Gomez on the same?

We have 3 defenseman right now that could definitely be written in to the opening night lineup, Tyutin, Girardi and Staal

we aren't going to trade one of them, one that we just signed long term.

Tyutin will be around here awhile.

We are looking to add quaility defenseman, not looking to deal them.

I'll put money on Sather and Dolan hiding signings they've completed with the RFA's. I'll put money on Sather and his gang of lawyers hunting a trade at this very moment.
NOT Zip, Brooks and any other soothsayer has any idea what Dolan and his pack of wolfs are up to.
No one will know until tomorrow.
So please for the love of god, please, give up on the idea of what you think you know, and get on with what you don't know, anything about what this team is up to.
