For the Rangers, it's the biggest game of the season coming up Sunday.
Better get some B-12 and an injection of D, as in defense. Could have been 3-0 Pens early.

He didn't score, took only two shots and drew two penalties---yet was named the first star of the game. He's Sidney Crosby. He could've had a goal on one of those shots, when he was robbed by Henrik Lundqvist, though. I thought Sykora, Hossa, Malkin and Malone played pretty darn well, too.

Here's Jagr on Straka's third-period penalty, which Crosby drew by stumbling: "I cannot comment on that. I didn't see it I don't know what happened." Then, he says, "I was expecting something like that."

Staal was the top defenseman for the Rangers, even though Rozsival had three assists.
Girardi, minus-2, Tyutin, minus-2, were crummy.

Let's see how easy this one is to forget for the Rangers. They spoke a lot about memory loss. They have been resilient all year. We'll see.

Jagr has no respect for Sidney and neither do I. Crosby is very talented but he's a whiny diver.
They have bounced back from bad losses like this during the season. Let's hope they are determined here. The refs stole this game from us.
The Refs blew a 3 goal lead?
honestly they did. ive never seen anything like this. sure 3-0 but 2 go off rangers...cant make a big deal about that it seems to happen every night......but those calls against crosby...u really have to be kidding. both penalties should have gone the rangers way and im just sick of this nhl loving the cry baby. its enough...they have issues as it is to get viewers..tell me why on earth they dont want the biggest media market to do well? and by that im not saying give the rangers all the calls..but please dont call come bs like they did. the nhl wants sid the kid to win and its hilarious that they think the audience doesn't see how bias the games are.
The Refs, or rather the League office in Toronto, helped the Rangers out with Drury's high stick goal.
The Rangers defense and weak goaltending lost them the game.
It's always funny listening to Rangers fans crying about not getting calls.
Islefan moron the drury goal was a goal.. more then the malkin knee deflection was.
crosby got 2 alls and dove on both, he is adisgrace.. someone should destroy that punk
If I was a Penguins fan right now, I wouldn't even be worrying.
I don't think it's even necessary that you guys watch the games.
The league is going to do whatever it can to make sure Sidney Crosby wins the Stanley Cup.
There are no ifs, ands or butts about it.
That was absurdity last night.
Ruutu's stick on Rozi's face is not a penalty, but Dubinsky gets a penalty for "trying" to trip Crosby with his leg and missing and Straka gets a phantom call with under 2 minutes left in a tied playoff game, on who? Crosby again.
Just unreal.
what a bunch of whiners you ranger fans are. before the series even started, wahhh, the league likes crosby, wahhhh, were not going to get any calls. now you lose a 3 goal lead and it's the ref's fault!!! wahhhhh, wahhhhh, wahhhhhh.wahhhhh, wahhhhh, wahhhhh!!!!
they were whining before the puck even dropped. amazing.
drop a three goal lead through shoddy defense and of course its the refs fault (naturally!).
very sad indeed.
break out the brooms, cause it's PENS IN 4!!!!
wahhhh, wahhhhhh, wahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
well, it's the ref's fault because it is 100% true.
If Crosby was called for a BS penalty with under 2 minutes to go and the Rangers won on the BS powerplay, you guys would be angry too.
No less the Ruutu stick in the face play, no less the phantom tripping call on Dubinsky.
It's yours, take the series, there is no way we are going to be able to compete against ridiculous officiating like that.
The league loves the Penguins.
you guys got calls too. every loser seems to whine about the refs. the devils and thier fans did it when you guys won. that was bad calls too, but i didn't see you whining about that? why? because it benefited you. it is a ridiculous trend of poor sportsmanship. your defense cost you this game, and will cost you the series.
get over it, and give us a good series.
that being said, i still say PENS IN 4!
the NHL made sure Pittsburgh got Mario, the NHL made sure Pittsburgh got Crosby, and the NHL will make sure Crosby wins the Stanley Cup.
Consider yourselves blessed.
as a pens fan i have always admired jagr and the incredible defense of the rangers.i've got to say that i am shocked at the way the rangers fans and press degrade themselves by sounding like such crybabys."the nhl wants sid to win"?? hmmm,do you remember last years playoffs?i guess not.don't blamb the refs, don't blamb the nhl.sometimes, just sometimes your team gets outplayed, just like the pens did last year.please stop the whining and blambing, the rest of the country is laughing at you.have a bit of class and enjoy the best hockey games we might ever see.
Now the refs are the reason the Rangers defence sucks? No one wants to admit that Sather hung this team out to dry at the deadline. The Rangers SOFT defence is the reason they sucked last night and it will continue. The only way the Rangers win this series is if Lundquist stands on his head for 6 games.
Cindy Cosby is a laughable little bitch.
In the NHL's quest to "broaden" it's market, they have made a major gaffe. By catering to Cindy Cosby, and making sure all calls go his way, they are alienating long-time hockey fans. The teeny-bopper-bandwagon fans they may be gaining come at a price of infuriating and downright disgusting the core fan base. As i look around the league this Stanley Cup playoff season, i see some of the poorest officiating ever in any pro sport. CONSISTANT. That is a word that should describe any good reffing crew. WAFFLING. That is a term that should either induce hunger, or indicate that someone doesn't have the fortitude to stand by previous statements or actions. CONSISTANT WAFFLING. That is what the NHL officials, on every level, are head and shoulders above the pack at doing! I am a Rangers AND Sharks fan. After the mockery of hockey i witnessed in Pittsburgh( yeh the rangers stunk it up, but fought their way back into the game, only to be disemboweled by one of the most piss-poor, intelligence-insulting calls ever witnessed by mankind), I watched the San Jose broadcast. Well, those guys looked like they were gonna continue where they left off in game 82, but the refs did a decent job curtailing that. In that game there were AT LEAST 15 incidences that drew no penalty, that were far more penalizable than both the calls that Cindy drew. And in the last 5 minutes of that game, it probably would have taken a Chris Simon-like act to draw one.(although campbell getting a penalty foe a solid, clean check was B.S.)But they mostly let the guys play hockey. My point being: ARE THERE SEPERATE RULEBOOKS FOR OFFICIALS TO CHOOSE FROM PRE-GAME!??!! How can the league feel like it is putting out a good product when new fans can't even learn what is a penalty and what isn't from game to game? And, how can an official suddenly make something that wasn't a penalty earlier a gamechanging call in the same game? At least the league decided to change the rule-book BETWEEN games for Sean Avery( although they seem to like it when Ruutu crosses the line, as he is on the NHL Penguins). SO I REALLY WISH YOU C#$&^%$KING PENGUINS FANS APPRECIATE THE GLORY YEARS TO COME by way of the league changing the way the game is played for your spoiled superstarbitch. Classless city, clasless fans, and no surprise here: classless players... and coach! ice-chikkens in 5 (sadly)
uhhhh, that dont even make sense... sid da kid is awesum.... we are like da best...ever!! we will win the next game by like 2 touchdowns!
waffles do sound like da bomb right now tho...
