Doubt it. He'd have to be on Long Term IR. 2 weeks doesn't qualify as long enough I think.
Rangers do not need to make any significant trades. remember this is about the future of this club. And if you've noticed, plenty of the younger players are getting better and there is a tremendous supply of good players in hartford. No rentals needed here. We need one big banging dman or a PP guy. Do not need old Foote as a rental. Dubinsky is untouchable by the way, whoever wrote that post has to watch more hockey obviously.
I can't say I'm not hoping for them to Move Malik, Montoya and possibly a Draft Pick for J. Liles and hopefully sign him long term.
We could of really used Campbell on the double P, and now that he's gone (for this season-hint) perhaps Slats can make a move for a big D in Hainsey...that would be just what we need heading into the playoffs.

Sather shot blanks today. Backman is another Malik, I hear. The swede is not much of an upgrade on Hossa but ok. Don't need another enforcer. Where's the beef. He gets a pass today cause at least he did'nt trade away any youth. I applaud him for that. He still has'nt addressed the Rangers needs though.
