South Side advances

South Side will be in the Class A final once again as it topped Burnt Hills for the third straight season, 2-0, today.

Bayport-Blue Point is still in a scoreless match with Marcellus with 9:15 left in the first.

Why can't the Girls State High School Championships rotate to downstate every other year. I'm tired of having to see us trek upstate every year. Wouldn't it be wonderful for the girls to feel at home for a change. Going upstate I have always felt that they have home field advantage even though we have been successful
