Smithtown Christian falls to Lyme 4-1 in Class D Semifinal

BY MARCUS HENRY

It wasn't the best day for Long Island girls soccer as Smithtown Christian became the third team to fall at the state championships today. Smithtown Christian jumped on top of Lyme with a goal in the first 10 minutes. But that was it as Lyme used its experienced lineup to overcome Smithtown Christian's youth. The Knights have one senior, while Lyme boasts 11.
