Insights on Brentwood-Ward Melville

BY JOSEPH STASZEWSKI

I was intrigued by the 2-2 tie between Brentwood and Ward Melville in boys soccer on Monday. Brentwood, one of elite teams on Long Island, had Ward Melville in a 2-0 hole, but give Ward Melville credit for battling back with two quick goals. Anyone who was at or heard about the game, what happened after Brentwood took its 2-0 lead? Did Ward Melville outplay them after that? How did Ward Melville score its goals?

After losing over 11 team members last year, Ward Melville has roster a great group of young players that need time to learn to play with eachother.....They did great, worked hard and stopped Brentwood in their tracks!
