St. John the Baptist junior center Christine Huber has committed to Rutgers. The 6-4 Huber led St. John the Baptist to the CHSAA state championship for the second straight season and its first Class AA Federation final.
She averaged 17 points, 13.7 rebounds, 5.4 blocked shots, 2.8 steals and 2.7 assists. She had 19 points, 10 rebounds and 10 blocked shots in the CHSAA state final against Molloy (Queens). Huber can handle the ball well for her size and can shoot from the perimeter.
