Huntington has jumped out to a 7-0 lead with five minutes left in the first quarter. Floral Park looks out of sync on offense.
6:11 p.m.: Julie Forster goes 1-for-2 from the free-throw line to give Huntington an 8-2 lead with 3:46 left in the first quarter.
6:16 p.m.: Kerry Hicks scores on a layup to give Huntington a 10-4 lead with 1:13 left. Caitlin Klaum brings Floral Park within 10-6.
6:17 p.m.: Shannon Ingram scored on a putback with two seconds left in the quarter.

SECOND QUARTER
6:22 p.m.: Forster scores on a putback with 6:23 left to give Huntington a 13-8 lead.
This game is very similar to the way Floral Park started against Westbury in the Nassau Class A final. Floral Park couldn't hit a shot in the first three quarters, but sizzled in the fourth quarter. The defense is keeping them close.
Forster is doing an excellent job on the boards for Huntington.
6:28 p.m.: Huntington's defense has been smothering. Floral Park can't get the ball inside. Huntington leads 14-8 with four minutes left.
6:33 p.m.: Casey Scully's jumper gives Huntington a 16-8 lead with 2:50 left. Megan Galvin answered with a layup and Scully does the same. Kate Hartnett hits a three-pointer for Floral Park and Kerry Hicks scores on a runner for Huntington. The offense is picking up. Huntington leads 20-13.
Hartnett gets a steal and scores with 38 seconds left and FP now trails 20-15.
HALFTIME HUNTINGTON 20, FLORAL PARK 15
THIRD QUARTER
6:51 p.m.: Forster scores on a drive with 6:42 left to give Huntington a 22-15 lead.
6:54 p.m.: Casey Scully hits a jumper after two offensive rebounds to give Huntington a 24-15 lead. Floral Park is getting outrebounded badly.
6:57 p.m.: Forster hits a jumper 4:17 and Hicks follows with a fast break layup to give Huntington a 28-15 lead. With Huntington's defensive prowess, Floral Park is in trouble.
7:00 p.m.: Floral Park has finally ended its third-quarter scoring drought on a pair of free throws by Justine O'Callahan with 2:53 left. It trails 30-17.
7:01 p.m.: Could it happen again? Megan Galvin hits a three-pointer with 1:51 left to bring Floral Park within 30-20.
7:07 p.m.: END OF THREE QUARTERS HUNTINGTON 30, FLORAL PARK 20
FOURTH QUARTER
7:12 p.m.: Shannon Ingram scores on a layup with 6:55 left to bring Floral Park within 32-23.
Huntington has missed a lot of shots and could have a bigger lead. Forster continues to dominate the boards.
7:14 p.m.: Maria Marascia scores on a runner after another Huntington offensive rebound.
7:16 p.m.: O'Callahan scores on a three-point point play with 4:59 left. Floral Park now trails 34-28.
7:18 p.m.: FP cpach Greg Mayerhofer gets called for a technical and Kerry Hicks misses both free throws for Huntington. Mayerhofer was upset on a charge called on his player and the basket went in. A poor call by the official and it could be a turning point.
7:20 p.m.: Ingram scores on a putback with 3:32 left and FP trails 34-30.
7:21 p.m.: Galvin goes 2-for-2 from the foul line with 3:22 left to bring FP within 34-32.
7:22 p.m.: Ericka Re goes 2-for-2 from the free-throw line with 2:51 left for FP. Tied at 34.
7:25 p.m.: O'Callahan hits a jumper off the glass with 2:09 left. FP leads 36-34. Forster hits a jumper with 1:48 left to tie it at 36. Ingram scores on a layup with 1:29 left to put FP back ahead, 38-36.
7:28 p.m.: Galvin goes 0-for-1 from the foul line for FP.
7:29 p.m.: Forster goes 1-for-2 from the foul line with 52.1 seconds left. FP leads 38-37.
7:30 p.m.: Ingram hits 1 of 2 from the foul line and grabs the rebounds with 44.8 seconds left. She gets fouled and goes 0 of 2 with 41.6 seconds left. FP leads 39-37.
7:33 p.m.: Forster layup with 26.8 seconds left. Tied at 39. Floral Park misses three shots at the end of regulation. We head to overtime.

7:35 p.m.: Forster gives Huntington a 41-39 lead with 3:50 left.

7:38 p.m.: Matte Scully goes 0-for-1 from the foul line with 2:57 left.
7:39 p.m.: Re hits 2-for-2 with 2:29 left to tie the score at 41 for FP.

7:42 p.m.: Re scores on a drive to the basket with 1:45 left to give FP a 43-41 lead.

I was at the game and I agree with you that the charge against Floral Park at the 7:18pm mark was a turning point. BUT-- that was a great call. The floral park player put her shoulder down and literally ran into/ over the huntington player. A gutsy call by the official.
