Bujacich reaches milestone

Wantagh coach Stan Bujacich notched his 200th career win tonight with a 66-51 victory over Malverne. Bujacich is 200-97 in his 15th season at the school. He guided the team to the Nassau Class A county championship in 2005 and 2006.

Wantagh is 5-5 in Conference ABC-I, but was recently bolstered with the return of Claire Peterson, who missed seven games. Wantagh has won two straight for the first time since Dec. 20.

"This win is important for us," Bujacich said. "It has been an unusual year."
