Kevin Kennedy got things started early with a 36-yard kickoff return to start Plainedge out at the 50 yardline. Kennedy's return seemed to ignite the offense as Plainedge marched 50 yards and 10 plays and took a 7-0 lead on a 3-yard run by Kennedy with 7:05 left in the first quarter.

The Golden Tornadoes threatened as they drove to the Plainedge 32, but a tackle for loss by Plainedge's Mike Rossi and a batted pass by David Ng helped turn back Lawrence.

Plainedge's versatile offense is proving to be too tough for Lawrence too handle. Seven different players touched the ball as Plainedge marched 65 yards on 11 plays. Anthony Fusco capped off the drive with an 18-yard scoring catch from Rossi to give Plainedge a 14-0 lead.

Lawrence's offense got a nice assist thanks to a 57-yard kick return by Kenny Barnett. The Golden Tornadoes took advantage as quarterback John Kinder directed a 12-play, 37-yard drive. Kinder capped the drive with a 1-yard scoring run.

The interception didn't do much for the Golden Tornadoes as their drive fizzled after eight plays.

After a lackluster first half, Lawrence's offense looks as if it is back on track as Kinder directed a 12-play, 63-yard drive. Ed Pinero capped it with a 2-yard scoring reception.

Lawrence began to move the ball, but a tackle for loss by Plainedge's Camera and three straight incompletions stalled the Golden Tornadoes' drive.

The Red Devils offense showed signs of life on this drive as Rossi hit Fleischman for a 26-yard gain. Camera ended the drive with a 22-yard scoring run with 6:01 left in the fourth.
