Bouncing into football territory

BY BOB HERZOG

I know it’s football season, but I figured this blog site is where I’d also find serious Long Island basketball fans that, like me, can’t wait for Midnight Madness. So go to my basketball blog for details about this Sunday’s Metro Classic all-star doubleheader at Island Garden in West Hempstead that matches the best of the New York City boys and girls against the ‘best of the burbs’ – teams comprised of the top players from Long Island and Westchester. There will be Division I kids galore and proceeds go to a pair of worthy charities. See you there.
