put lutheran in jericho's or whitman's league and it just wouldnt be fair..put that into consideration while putting jericho or whitman on top of the "Newsday Top 10"

Just come watch Luhi play, please i am begging you. r u ranking the best teams or is this like the college BCS, b/c Luhi is def the best team They did scrimmage Whitman and did outplay them by the way. the rest of the rankings seem good. but please come watch luhi play this sunday at luhi 2:45....please.

why is everyone hating on the lutherans do people from whitman or jericho for that matter honestly think they can beat luhi seriously i was at the whitman luhi scrimmage and the kid wearing practice jersey number 23 on the end of the bench was getting buckets

Quite simply, there should be two categories; one for the public schools (districts) and one for the schools that get their talent from all over Long Island. It makes no sense to blend the two together. Of course Lutheran can beat all the teams mentioned, but who cares? It's not relevant. If a team is made up of kids in a community, it would only stand to reason that they can't compete with a team made up of kids from the city, and both counties on Long Island. Don't mix the public and private schools in the rankings. Lutheran lost in San Diego to a national power - I'm not sure the writer who says they swept is aware of that.

Bay Shore should be on this list. people forget that they beat uniondale even though they also lost to them. the real test for them will be when they face Walt Whitman LUHI SHOULD BE NUMBER 1. plain and simple
Baldwin should be higher then uniondale seeing that they beat them.Gaurd Chris Manning of Baldwin is the most underated gaurd in the county. his game reminds me of Rajon Rando of the Boston Celtics. Kellenberg is terrible. Take them off and so is st Johns The Baptist. Jericho is the most overated team on longisland. they lost to Uniondale and it wasnt even a game i was in attendence at Walt Whitman that day. Hills West is another overated team. newsday makes this kid Tobias Harris seem like jesus shuttlesworth. he is jus another good player with no team and no competition. my top 10 is as follows

1.LI Lutheran
2.Walt Whitman
3.Baldwin
4.Bay Shore
5.Uniondale
6.Who cares because if you are not first you are last

whitman lost last night to i think east hampton by 2 points =( i agree luhi should b 1 but u gotta give it to whitman they went to the li championships and lost by 2.. they woulda went to states next.. =9 i hope whitman will b as good next year.
