Well, it looks as if all the AA teams left standing are playing the world's most tiring game of chicken. Mepham, Massapequa, MacArthur and East Meadow - the four teams who have spent the entire season beating each other up - are all going to deciding game threes today.

Less dramatic theatrics at East Meadow, where MacArthur pitcher John Krause shut down the EM offense in a 4-0 win.
Massapequa and MacArthur have jostled for the top spot in AA-I all season, but it'll be interesting to see if EM and especially Mepham, which has had less than a spectacular season, can dethrone the leaders.
Another shocker: Island Trees goes down, 8-3. And I was so sure that they were going to go far this year (see: the last two or three Nassau rankings that I did). But let's face it - Paul Bischoff is pretty much unstoppable right now: 2-for-4 with two RBIs and he tossed a four-hitter with six strikeouts for the win.
