Pat White has done a 180 on his comments at Big East media day:
"Thinking back on my recent comments at Big East media day, I believe that I may have overstated my feelings on college baseball and the WVU baseball program," White said in a statement released by the university and published by the AP. "I have not played collegiate baseball in the past because I have concentrated on football and building on our success with my football family.
"I am sorry my comments have caused so many distractions. I am looking forward to putting this behind me and getting on the practice field with my teammates on Saturday."
Actually, I'd say that is like a 170...
This pretty much means the story will blow over. You might hear about it the first week of West Virginia practice, but after that it'll be a moot point.
And, if it's not true, White owes Van Zant a huge apology. Those were some serious accusations.

Let's hope it's not true...that White just woke up on the wrong side of the bed that morning and he'll go meet Van Zant to apologize.
If it is true and the Uni. made him apologize for speaking out, that'd be as big of a crime, IMO. But I just can't see that being the case.
I assumed the "It's" you were talking about was Pat's most recent statement (From you Blog above), NOT the charges of racism.
But as you've pointed out in a prior Blog Post, short of finding out GVZ has a KKK membership or some public statements by GVZ, how could you prove it?
There have been rumors of racism associated with the Georgetown Basketball program for years, but other than the fact they've had maybe one white player in five years, how could you prove it?
