Afternoon.
I'm about 2/3 of the way through my preseason Top 25 at this point. I'll have it all said and done by the end of this week and we'll unveil it starting a week from today.
As of right now I'm dedicating a blurb on each team, highlighting a player and another feature dealing with music. I will do more if you tell me to do more. Throw suggestions at me, but time is of the essence at this point.
On a news-related note, that quarterback E.J. Manuel, who is now the No. 10 player in the country, is holding a press conference on Wednesday. Expect him to verbal his services to Florida State. Jumbo Fisher has to be loving it: Vince Young reincarnated in Tallahassee.
Also, not sure how many heard, but Oregon quarterback Dennis Dixon, a supreme athlete, will not be suiting up in the heinous unis in Eugene next year. He'll be playing baseball (5th round draft pick) for the Atlanta Braves. A scramble to replace the struggling Andruw Jones (who's in a contract year...but that's for a different blog)? Whatever, the bottom line is that Brady Leaf will be taking the snaps, quarterback controversy over.

Dennis Dixon is only playing bball during the summer just like smardijza did. Dennis will be the starter, Bellotti said that during the spring.
