Here’s a quote for those who don’t think the loss of a draft pick would be a proper punishment for the Pats:
“It’s huge,” Ravens coach Brian Billick told us today. “It depends on how high the pick is, obviously. But more so than anything you can do, no financial fine, no sanction will bother you more than to lose a draft choice.”

A better fine would be to give up a draft choice, but still be responsible for the financial details of the pick.
Some teams can't afford to take on extra draft choices. If you really want to punish the Pats, make them pay for the draft choice they have to give up.
Ina addition to giving up a draft choice, they should suspend Belichick for a game or two. This will cost him real money.
Instead of taking a draft pick away from the Pats(which would most likely be near the end of the first round) why not reverse the outcome of the game and give the win to the Jets?

Bad enough those cheating SOBs aren't being forced to forfeit the game. They should take away their first-rounder next year.
Wow. Losing games sucks, but losing your reputation and character is worse. Bellicoward can go bury his head in the sand now. This scandal won't soon be forgotten - no matter what the outcome. I may actually be secretly glad it came to light against the Jets. It allows Mangini to smirk knowingly whenever he meets his old mentor mid-field.
Forefeit of game, Team fine, loss of draft picks (the first round pick of the next two drafts with a pick each going to the Packers and the Jets as victims compensation) and suspension for Bely-check!

IF Bonds took he only tried to effect HIS play.
IF Belichick intercepted opponent radio frequencies and video taped defensive play calling he STOLE specific OPPONENT TEAM info that would severely change the outcome of the game.
What is worth more the HOME RUN RECORD or THREE SUPER BOWLS?
IF Bonds took he only took Aaron's record.
IF Belichick stole opponents information he cheated the NFL out of 3 legit SUPER BOWLS.

Are you Jets fans for real? Mangini has made some stupid decisions this season, but none bigger than turning his former mentor in. Just wait till the next Jets Patriots matchup. You think they were pissed last night when they dominated the Chargers, you ain't seen nothing yet. You can look to your coach as the reason why the Patriots will go undefeated this year when they win the Superbowl. What a big baby!!!
