Nobody wants Mario?

I was a little surprised by the landslide victory Sinorice Moss achieved in our little informal poll (so little and informal it drew a whopping six comments!). Isn't there someone out there who thinks it's time for the Giants to see what they have in Manningham?

Anyone?

Hello?

We eventually will see Manningham, but I think this is a swim or float season for Moss.

You never know, maybe we will see both of them this weekend. (probably not, but you never know)

Edit: *Swim or sink, meant to say

Personally, I'd love to see Mario. But with Hixon emerging, I doubt we'll see either Manningham or Moss all that much this weekend.

I agree with Tony A. M & M would be No. 4 receiver. I do think Moss will make one big play on Sunday, though.

You are right, Tony, in that Hixon is emerging. But where is he emerging from? That 4th WR position. I wouldn't be surprised if Manningham has something like 2 catches for 18 yards and Moss sits (dressed or not). Just a gut.

If Super Mario had been healthy all week I think without a doubt he would be at the 4 spot, but for a guy who supposedly has had trouble grasping the playbook as is, losing reps the week before you possibly could not only dress but play certainly didn't help him.

From what I've read, Mario has the physical gifts but not the smarts...

Should he stick around, we can look forward to blown routes and missed assignments for the next 3 or 4 years from Mario until Eli begs Jerry Reese to draft a receiver who can spell his name.

Mario Manningham was the steal of the draft, Sinorice Moss was the most overhyped player in his draft and we blew our chance at Greg Jennings (whom we worked out) or Marcus McNeil. We know what Moss is, we outta trade him to the Raiders and see what we get. Al Davis is dumb enough to think Moss' speed could be what Russell needs.

Manningham will eventually catch on to the playbook and make his mark just like Steve Smith did last year. I do think he'll catch a 40 yard pass and shut all this Moss talk up.
