Kiwi feels great

Although he admitted he isn't 100 percent healthy, Mathias Kiwanuka said he's as close to 100 percent as he's been since the start of the Redskins game. He said the bye might not have been great for the team in terms of the timing, but it worked out well for him.

As for Manningham, he said he's feeling much better after his bout with an upset stomach. "It was really upset," he said. At one point there were about 20 reporters around his locker closing in on him, waiting for him to finish dressing. Inch by inch everyone crept closer. I later told Mario that he could have scattered the whole bunch had he simply turned around and coughed.

Didn't see Tynes in the locker room.

We finally get some good news, glad to hear it!!

Tom, have you heard anything about the Giants calling the Raiders about Terdell Sands?

Do they want to add a big body to the DT rotation?

Thanks!

I think they were more interested in that particular player than bolstering the position, Greg. They had both Robbins and Cofield slim down during the offseason, remember, so I don't think they're hungry for a big anchor so much as they were intrigued by Sands.
