First off, Just wanted to say, Eli looked amazing. He had the highest QB rating of his career (136.6), Looked completely comfortable and confident in the pocket, and made some nice throws, especially the Hixon's TD. He spread the ball around just about to everyone, even Manningham (it's amazing, the kid had the flu days before the game, and he steps in like he's a veteran, he just has that natural abilitiy and cant wait to see more of him in the future)
Hixon looked really good too in the half.
Was glad to see Moss in the game, and get his first career TD, which was a perfect pass by Eli. (Hixon also caught his first career TD, just Smith and Manningham left)
I like how Gilbride rotated the WR's, would like to see that continue in games to come. Its like the RB's, all the WR's have different strenghts, and they can all line up in each of the different positions.
For the League's 9th best Run Defense, they sure looked like the 29th run defense with the Giants running all over them for 254 yards. Think Earth, Wind and Fire average about 6 yds/att.
Bradshaw was an absolute beast on that 32 yard run, stiff arming, spinning, breaking tackles, he tried to pull a Jacobs and run through the last guy, but that didnt work, still amazing though. He's easily my favorite '07 rookie (Smith/Ross are next in line).
And almost forgot the defense looked pretty good, would of liked to see more pressure on the QB, but the Secondary played really well. Its funny, last game I was hating on Dockery, and he steps up and gets the pick, and then does an amazing job returning it 40 yards.
Alright, I think im all out of amazings, cant wait to see Plax back in action on MNF.
