Hasselbeck on AP: As good as they get
Matt Hasselbeck had some nice things to say about Antonio Pierce -- sort of.
"He is just a football player," the quarterback said. "I don’t know how he would do if they had a combine necessarily. I don’t think in the measurables department, some idiot scout somewhere might say that he’s not tall enough or his 40 time is not fast enough. But a football coach or a football player would say, ‘Hey, this guy is as good as they get.’ He is a great football player. He has great instincts. And he is the kind of teammate I would want to have."
If you remember -- and I know Pierce does -- Pierce went undrafted out of Arizona. Looks like there are a lot of idiot scouts out there.

I agree with Hasslebeck on that. AP might possibly be the least athletic MLB in the game, but he's as smart as they get and he executes very well. They'd be toast without him.
