T-Rock's Take on the Giants

The team's favorite Olympic athlete, Sanya Richards, stopped by practice today to flash her Beijing medals and give the team a little pep talk. Richards, of course, is engaged to cornerback Aaron Ross. She won the bronze in the women's 400 and rallied the US for a gold in the 4x400.

Spoke with Jonathan Goff, who said he is coming along with his back injury but he deosn't have a target for a comeback just yet. He said he's doing some drills but avoiding anything that would cause him further injury like hitting squarely.

Also saw former Fresno State players David Carr and Derrick Ward heading out down the Turnpike to watch the Bulldogs play at Rutgers this afternoon. Shaun O'Hara played at Rutgers, and I'm told there's a little something on the table over this game. Ward said he thinks this is the first time Fresno State has ever played on the East Coast. The farthest east he ever played when he was there? Wisconsin.
