A nice raise for Feagles

According to the NFLPA website, Jeff Feagles will make $1-million next season and $1.5-million in 2009. That's a healthy salary for a punter.

You hearing anything about talks with Wilson or Mitchell?

Why don't they sell Feagles jerseys? The man is money and worth it.

Is Derrick Strait (Panthers) a FA? We all know him as a CB for the Jets but he’s played safety for the Panthers. He’s only 27. Some places have him listed as a FA and some dont. He’s only like 5′11″ so he’s not the prototypical hight you’d want but I’d love to bring him in to compete with Johnson to play next to Wilson. At least he’s still young and that would give up a guy we could play at multiple position incase of injury. He’s a good special teamer as well. Plus, he knows our stadium from his days with the Jets.

This says---->Waived by Carolina (9/1/07)..

If we can claim him before the FA period I hope Reese does it. The worst thing is we cut him before the year. I'd love to have Strait on our squad. I've always liked him and he's still young. He's not the greatest player or a shut down corner but he's a better safety than corner and could be a nice cheap guy to add like Mitchell was last off-season.

PATS TO PASS ON STALLWORTH OPTION

A league source tells us that the New England Patriots already have advised receiver Donte' Stallworth that they won't be picking up the $6 million option due to be paid to him on or before February 25.

As a result, the Pats will be required to cut Stallworth by 4:00 p.m. EST on Friday, February 22. Unless, of course, they work out a new deal with him before then.

Stallworth was signed by the Pats before the team acquired Randy Moss. The decision not to keep Stallworth suggests that the team will retain Moss, possibly by applying the franchise tag to him and then trying to work out a long-term deal.

The deadline for applying the franchise tag is February 21.

I'd love to sign Stallworth. I was so mad when he was traded to the Eagles. A lot of people would love to see us go after Moss, which would be a bonkers price tag and a totally untypical Giants move, but I'd LOVE for Reese to bring Stallworth in. He has big play potential and could really open things up for our offense IMO. Of course, the price would have to be right. Thoughts?

Stallworth would be a great addition. He could give us that legit deep threat that we've been looking for, but the price does have 2 be right. Trading for Hall and signing Stallworth can open us up to draft that 2nd rnd LB like Adibi or Highsmith(who has enuff speed to catch Darren McFadden down from behind) But Stall would be a great future replacement for Toomer at the 2 and keep Stevie Smith in the slot.

Wow, didnt think they would of got rid of stallworth, would be a great addition to the team

Also found this to be intresting, http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=356517

Regarding the Hall trade as mention before, would be a big improvement towards are secondary. Should be very intresting to see what happens.

Nice work if you can get it,

Staple-You need to step up your game with this blog. You've made it a glorified newspaper. Talk to us man! We ask questions and try to have discussions and you ignore us. Soon no ones gonna come here if there's no back and forth.

Someone needs to go to Staple's apt and make sure he is still with the living.

For real, he should be all over this Hall thing. Not to mention there's a rumor about Trufant. Where our 'insider'?
