We'll see if he's right, since it's probably not up to him, but he says so. Same with Plax.
Not much else from a very loose room today... Guys were very relaxed and jokey. Chase Blackburn's assailant is still at large.
Shockey spoke for a bit, and it's worth noting that he hasn't exactly lit up the offense so far this season. Might have to do with having to stay in and block for new running backs, but there have been a few drops, the one delay-of-game penalty against the Packers and, overall, 16 catches and zero touchdowns.

There's no way in hell Osi will miss the jets game on sunday. Why miss out on an opportunity to get 3+ sacks against the happless Chad Pennington. Or abuse the overrated Thomas Jones in the back field. Osi WILL play.
I love watching Shockey play, but I don't feel sorry for him. If he is moping around than he should look in the mirror at the player that spiked the ball after a catch and cost his team 15 yards or the player that dropped a Eli Manning TD pass the other week at home. Granted it would have been a great catch, but it was in his hands.
I hope for his sake and the team's sake he gets on track. If we are going to get on a hot streak, he's going to have to get going and contribute.
