Uh-oh: Brian Westbrook has broken ribs
The Eagles' problems continue to mount. In addition to Westbrook's ankle problem, he now has cracked ribs.
Not good for a team that suddenly finds itself in last place.

Who cares about Westbrook.
Bob, stop looking so damned happy when you're on first take, you're a New Yorker, act like it!
Also, maybe send Jonette Howard a welcome aboard the bandwagon email. ;)
And each time a writer who didn't think the Giants were much finally acknowledge they are for real, and last year was no fluke, send them each a welcome aboard email.
Westbrook was playing well, was taken out of the game with the ribs problem, during that time the Redskins took over the game. Then Reid put him back into the game, knowing he had injured ribs. I wonder if the coach is beginning to worry about his job security?
I think Reid sees the window closing given the age and healthy of his offensive stars. Half the guys family got busted, now doing time and I think he missed a day. Can't see him going anywhere, but sun is setting on the soup guy.
