For about 30 seconds, it appeared Raiders coach Lane Kiffin was satisfied that newly acquired receiver Javon Walker, he of the $55 million free agent contract, was finally coming around to Kiffin's way of thinking.

But after yet another drop in Friday night's preseason game against the Titans, Kiffin lit into the diva receiver and suggested he'd better do more to start earning his pay.

Let's see what we have with Walker: cut by the Broncos, involved in a shooting outside a casino in Vegas during the off-season, reported to training camp in shape, dogged it during practice, a moment or two when his coach finally praises him, and then this.

I'd say this has the makings of yet another brutal free agent signing for a team that seems to specialize in them.
