Adam Jones not happy with Don Imus
This is what Cowboys cornerback Adam Jones has to say about what Don Imus said about him yesterday.
"I'm truly upset about the comments," Jones said. "Obviously Mr. Imus has problems with African-Americans. I'm upset, and I hope the station he works for handles it accordingly. I will pray for him."
Imus is defending himself over his comments.
"I meant that he was being picked on because he's black," Imus said in the statement.
I personally think this is the end for Imus.
And, if it is, I personally don't care.
He has been unfunny and irrelevant for years. The only time you hear his name is when he says stupid and/or racist things.

I find it hard to believe that people still listen to him, other than those times when he says something dumb and it gets plastered all over the place. I dare say the people who actually heard those remarks live over the air number in the dozens.
Couldn't agree more, Bob. It's time for this guy to go. I know he's a ratings machine, but the only reason is because people are waiting for the next big, controversial remark to come out of his mouth.
If this is his chance at redemption, you would think he would be a little more careful about walking the racial tightrope.
At the same time, I don't want to see Pacman Jones acting like this absolves him of all his past incidents.
How about putting Mike, MadDog, Imus,& Pacman in a boat together & setting them adrift at sea.
When you make Pac-Man Jones the voice of reason you know your days are numbered. Bye Don.

PC correctness has gone too far, I don't have to agree with you, god knows I hate Howard Stern. but I support his right to be am A-Hole.
We know we;re in trouble when Pacman prays for Imus. Maybe he should be praying for that bouncer from LI he paralyze in his Las Vegas strip club episode.
Don Imus may not be politically correct, but that's his job, he is a shock jock, so I don't get why people get pissed off.
By the way, Imus just pointed a fact, most of these NFL player who are getting arrested are black....sorry but the truth hurts...
But people must remember that most sports stars choose athletics as a way to get out of the situation/environment they have been brought up in and see this as a way to improve their lives, except for a few those bad elements follow them during their success.
