I don't think Wade Phillips is an insomniac ...

... not when he says things like he did the day after his 13-3 Cowboys were beaten by the Giants in the NFC divisional playoffs. zzz.jpg

"After looking at the tape, I certainly feel like the best team lost the game," Phillips said. "I feel like we outplayed them, but we lost."

Wow.

Phillips also talked about all the progress the Cowboys made this season, how they earned the No. 1 seed in the playoffs, how things are looking up for the future.

Pttoooeey!

Bottom line: Phillips is still a coach looking for his first career playoff victory (0-4).

But at least he gets to sleep at night. In fact, I bet he's snoozing away right now, while I'm about to see if there's a Conan O'Brien re-run that'll put me back to sleep.

Hello, Sorry Mr. Bob, there are no re run of conan O'Brien at 4am, so sorry, try walking for a few minutes.

Well, Wade Phillips is not an insomniac, just a sore loser. LOL

Self Preservation.

Those comments are targeted for one man, Jerry Jones. Wades just trying to save his own neck.

Meanwhile, out in Jokeland, the mad scientist gets ready to sacrifice another young coach....

Hmmm... Is he saying that the Cowboys got the "moral victory?"

Is Goldman taking over the NFL? Anthony Noto the new CFO? GS and GOOG, embrace our new overlords.

My shows aren't reruns anymore! I'm back and better then ever! Tune in and watch me zip line over the crowd with a helmet that shoots smoke out the back.

Conan:

At 3 a.m., you are in re-runs, and you are a welcome sight when insomnia strikes. You are my hero. Really.

PS: I saw your set a few weeks ago while doing an appearance at WNBC. It is much smaller than it looks on television. And your desk looks like it was purchased at a tag sale. I do like it, though.
