Adriana Lima comes with the trade? Done deal.
Marko Jaric's fiancee is Brazilian Victoria Secret model Adriana Lima.
Welcome, Adriana. The Garden already looks better.
Now that I have your attention this morning, Fixers....let's get serious.
The latest I'm hearing on the Zach Randolph-to-Memphis talks is that the Grizzlies want a first-round pick from the Knicks. Getting a bit greedy, no? Donnie has countered by saying if he's giving up a first-rounder, he wants something more back with Darko Milicic and Marko Jaric.
Jaric, by the way, has to be stoked by these trade talks. He's spent the summer in New York -- his wife-to-be is a model, or did I not say that already? -- and I've heard he's been working out recently with possible future mates David Lee and Nate Robinson.
Darko is apparently pretty happy about it, too. Starberman caught Darko's agent, Marc Cornstein, at the US Open over the weekend and Cornstein said they would welcome the chance to play for Mike D'Antoni.
And there is a report in the Serbian media that claims Darko Milicic says it's "99 percent" he'll be a Knick by the end of the week.
You got all that, right?
Translated by tranexp.com, it comes out:
Everything će yourself knotkle in full following Sunday , but may yes kažem yes alone 99 stale from New York. It had brilliant crew , that lately game loše , but down late coach bi it is required yes yourself convert. FROM suštini , all the same me had where ću personate , but činjenica had to be New York really baggy town. Likelihood me očekuju monstruous gužve in the way until auditorium , but šta yes yourself on behalf of. Certainty had yes će me društvo from New York feign plus Marko Jarić , and ću have down cumin yes yourself družim zaključio had Darko Miličić.
Exactly.
If anyone can do a better job with the translation, please post.
Stay tuned . . .

Hey Alan I hope that first rounder would be a future and well protected. Also if they want a first rounder who do you think Donnie would try to get from them? Javaris Crittenton perhaps? Or Kyle Lowry?
Also any news on Danilo? I'm beginning to get a little worried about these back issues.
alan......finally a babe we can all get excited about! I take back all the mean things I've written about your taste in women.
Obviously we're not throwing a #1 into the deal, and there's no way we're takng back more bodies either, inasmuch as we are already at 16 and counting.
New York really baggy town!!!
A first rounder is pushing it because it will be a top 10 pick. If I'm Donnie Walsh, I stand firm and not bend.
How did Marko Jaric end up with Adriana Lima? :/
Well, Lima can start at Center for us. She is tougher and plays better D than Eddy Curry.
I got a rough translation from someone, that might make a little more sense: :D
We'll know for sure by the end of the week, but I can say that I believe there is 99% chance I'll be playing in New York next season. New York is a great franchise that has struggled in the recent past, but with new coach in D'Antoni, everything will change for better. In reality I will play anywhere, but New York is a big city. The traffic will probably be bad but that's about it. It's almost certain that Marko Jaric (another Serb) will be on the team so I'll have someone i know to hang out with/support me.
please trade jared jeffried with zach randolph if we are getting marko jaric back in the trade
Giving up any pick would be idiotic
Terrible trade. And throw in a 1st round pick? NO.
lets start throwing first round picks into trades again thats stupid
Why don't we just give them our first round picks for the next 2 years and the option to flip flop 1st rounders in the 3rd year?
Oh wait, we tried that once before. Thank god Isiah isn't in charge anymore.
Considering the Knicks draft history we pretty much have been giving up our draft picks anyway. Seriously though that would be pretty idiotic to throw in a draft pick too. For what? We are giving up the better player and taking back their dead weight because he doesn't fit in our system. If anything, shouldn't they be giving us the draft pick!
Damn...that girl is fine...
now to the trade (i was distracted...LOL)
a first rounder too...well if it is lottery protected
i would consider it
but i hope walsh
can get something better
than jaric and Milicic
if he is throwing in a first rounder
how about conley?
they already have OJ
how many PGs do they need?

I agree Italion Stallion.
Why would we give up a first round pick when we are sending the most talent in this trade to Memphis.
We should be getting the first round pick.
I really like Jarics game though. He can be a nice addition to our team, especially with Dantoni running the offense. I'm still not sold on Darko because of his recent injuiries. However, they say Europeans heal quicker and better than Americans lol.
Once we get this trade out of the way, we can go ahead and field offers for David Lee to see what he can get us. I'm not saying we should trade him but we should see what type of value he has out there. Somebody here made a good point that a team will want him come trade deadline time. You never know what can happen with other teams injuries. I like Lee but he is not a starter in this league. Besides, I would prefer him to keep coming off the bench with that energy. Just as I would like Crawford to come off the bench as well.
Am I dreaming here or does that sound like a good idea?
dont give up any picks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There's no way the Knicks add a pick to that deal. Walsh has made it clear that he's looking to acquire picks.
Exciting to see though that this thing is close to being done. It would improve the team chemistry, give Lee a shot to really shine, give Curry a chance to get back to 2006 form, add a shot blocker, and better our chances in the FA market in 2010. I really hope that this first round pick wont be a dealbreaker.
I don't like the trade. Darko and Marko for Zach and a 1st round pick. Just so we could free up some cap space in an attempt to get Lebron?
Zach isn't that bad, if this were Jerome or Jefferies I'd understand the urgency but I'd hold off on Zach until the trade dead line for better offers. What the hell are we going to do with Darko & Marko?
Is the first round pick demand true or is it just theknicksblog guy throwing it in there to sound interesting? He did the same thing with the Clippers supposed demands and only he can seem to confirm this continued demand for a first rounder along with Zach by teams looking to deal with us.
Hahn, as an FYI re: #33 as reported in your Ewing story: Went to the Hall of Fame dinner and Ewing Jr. said he won't wear #33 in NY. I don't know what the difference is between un-retiring it in New York as opposed to Georgetown but he said he'll be picking another number.
First Round Draft Pick!! I surely hope we don't go down this road again ... I was hoping those days were over!!
This has to be a silly rumor or just a PR leak in order to justify a reason to back out of deal.
If this is true ... I say lace them up Zach you playing in the Garden this season!!
We can do better. So far, we've already turned down one terrible offer. Giving up a 1st should be out of the question, even if we get a guy back. We're already at 16 players, with Marko there'd be 17. Throw in another guy and we're at 18. I'd like to keep some contracts that will be expiring in the next two years (Rose, Marbury, James. Q), although I'd move them if it got the deal done. Maybe let them take a chance on Marbury for Toine?
Now, swapping picks? I'd give them that (for 09 only). I mean, even if we swap picks, we're swapping with the Grizz who just picked up Randolph!
How about the gorgeous Lima playing some defense for the Knicks by distracting the other team, while we steal the basketball?
That's one fine looking woman. Tudo bem.
The pot needs to be sweetened a lot for Walsh to include a #1.
Rather than include a pick, why not pay some of Zak's deferment?

You guys have probably seen this article, I will note that there is no mention of draft picks coming from the Knicks. As the Stallion rightly points out, and everyone agrees, NO DRAFT PICKS GO OUT! My opinion is, Memphis needs to make this deal work, not New York. We are picking up the dregs here, especially Jaric, who has become nothing but a hot potato since he got that crazy contract. They are the ones who need to be giving up picks. Walsh has let it be known now that there are teams looking hard at Zach. But still, he has not given up control. This could be all about establishing the market for the next pigeon, changing the media narrative, changing leagure perception. After Zeke it is refreshing that the GM is not looking to make statements, or re-energize, or be bold or any of that crap. These are big time business deals and should be treated as such. In the business world, such things never go smoothly, always take time, and require alot of to and fro and some hard feelings at times, and often get discarded after everyone has chewed it over. I like the fact that Walsh is reported as being neutral and taking his time. He's only making a deal to make the team better, not to prove that he is a GM by exercising his trade function.
And, he's found a way to bring Patrick closer to the organization, show him respect, without stepping on D'Antoni's toes and messing with his authority or his strategy. I'm on record as ok with doing not much. Its D'Antoni's problem to find Curry and Randolph roles, and I'm sure he will find a way. Having to run fast for long periods of time has a way of clarifying things for large people like Zach and Curry. Let's build this thing solid, brick by brick, pick up draft picks, keep flexibility, hold that Ace in the Hole which is Lee, and let these other teams figure out finally that its going to cost them to deal with the knicks and New York aint getting ripped off no mutha loving more.
if donnie gives up a first rounder he better get warrick in return
nuff said
stay tuned for more KnowLedge
Amen, Willis.
If any of this 1st Round Pick nonsense is true, Chris Wallace is truly scrambling to save face after the Great Gasol Robbery.
Donnie's methodical and I love it.
Im all for trading Zach, everyone knows that, but not for a 2010 contract and a 1st round pick. If we were going to do that then we might as well have sent him to the clippers and not had to take any contacts back. There is no way Walsh includes a pick unless he can dump Jared Jeffries or Jerome James in this deal.
Keeping 2010 alive
with some Bulljive
Add me to the chorus saying no to trading a pick.
Yo Al, you're crazy. That's right, get the fans to scream for Jaric, so you can get daily injury reports from Jaric's hottie. I hear you bruh; priorities.
After you get the daily reports, direct her to 32nd and Ninth Avenue (a block away from the Garden; I don't have a license) where my "limo" service will be waiting to take her anywhere she wants to go for a token. LOL.
How did this guy pull that off? She's marrying Jaric? WTF?
There's hope for us average Joes. I'm moving deep south. Soon as I save up my pennies.
My bad, we were discussing basketball.
Every NBA team wants to pimp us, treat us like we cannot recognize value. Give us a serviceable player (Milicic) and dump a ridiculous contract on us. $7/yr for Jaric for 3 years? Sorry, his wife isn't that fine.
Keep it movin. Next proposal.
they want to pimp us, no this can be made
I would do it if they gave up Rudy Gay. Other than that I cant see giving up The Zach Hole and a first rounder for Darko and Jaric.
Nobody wants Marko here. He sucks.... Dead player that just wants to get paid and not earn it. We have a few of them already. Trading Zach for Darko I would do it just cus his salary comes off the books on 2010. If they want us to take any other dead player from them they have to take ( Jerome Burger James). If they want a 1st round pick from us they better give us Rudy Gay. I cant say OJ Mayo cus we dont know how he will play at the NBA level. Is time to put a stop every other Team thinking that Isiah the sucker still running the show. Thats a thing of the pass.....
Lets play hardball and get Warrick out of this!!
RIP COACH.
Don Haskins, who was largely credited with helping break color barriers in college sports in 1966 when he used five black starters to win a national basketball title for Texas Western, died Sunday at the age of 78.
Texas-El Paso spokesman Jeff Darby said the Hall of Fame coach died Sunday afternoon.
What is all of this Warrick hype? Where would you play him? He would take minutes away from both Lee and the Rooster. Or you would be throwing in a first round pick for a guy coming off of the bench occasionaly to get minutes behind Darko, Curry, Lee, and the Rooster. How does that make sense? You don't trade a 1st round pick for a roll player.
Good post Willis and I would agree with you except that part of the problem with this team is chemistry. If you go into the season with Marburry, Randolph, and J. James on your roster with all the young guys still not getting minutes, how is that progress? If this were an average, or slightly below average team I would agree with being a little patient and letting things play out but the team stinks, and more importantly the chemistry stinks, which is why I think you don't want to let it fester and ruin yet another season. We may not win many games but at least we can start building chemistry.
You're right Life - I guess I'm assuming Marbury is gone, and Jerome is working the counter at a White Castle in uniform as a Public Service of the New York Knicks (eating the burgers before he bags them, so the good folk of Gotham are spared that rank offal). I actually have faith in both Randolph and D'Antoni, and if he's here, I think he will contribute. I think D'Antoni will define roles and will be consistent and clear about what guys must do to play. Somebody posted at some point that Randolph was a more of a follower than a malcontent ring leader. I love his passion, and it takes all sorts to make a team go. I think you're right to be concerned that there would be a re-do of last year, where Randolph overshadowed Curry - classic inmates running the asylum. I expect better of D'Antoni, and we need talent. I still think these guys need the benefit of the doubt (NOT MARBURY of course)
@willis.
I take umbrage at your sullying white castle's good name by associating them with jj.
Do the move but I will not give up a first round pick. 2010 King James may be hurt and there is no way I will pay some one 15 million dollars to play on my team. Just think about it you pay one man all that money who else are you going to get. Remember you need five players not one, there is no player in the world worth all that money so let King James play for the NETS. Even if I own a team and had all the Millions I still would not pay
Sec - I humbly retract my earlier umbrage.
Anything the Knicks need to do to get that woman courtside for homegames SHOULD BE DONE. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Over the last 5-10 years we've made a hundred stupid moves that have paid ZERO dividends, so why stop here? At least we could have a spectacular model rooting for us every night.

It's funny how so many of you Knick fans hate Zach Randolph yet you want to throw have Warrick thrown into the trade. Hak isnt a bad guy but you wanna talk about a "black hole" well he is your man. The dude is a smaller less talented worse rebounding version of Randolph. He had like a two month period when Gasol went down and he started and i swear he had like 3 assists in that two months. He takes every shot he gets and he might not be a head case or whatever but you arent getting some gem if we throw him in just to let you know.
There's no way Donnie will trade a first round pick and a 20-10 starter for 2 serbian bench players. Knicks need a real big man, not a pseudo-big man like Darko, he-who-can't-post. If we can get an IMPACT player in return, let's talk trading/losing a first round pick. Don't do it Donnie!
Damn, that Lima hottie is a hottie bean.... still... did someone mention white castle?
I know we are trying to unload Randolph and his monster contract and bad attitude, but why arent we trying to to get rid of Curry ?
The man is a liability on defense, and he has got to be the worst rebounding center in the NBA...Once Curry, Marbury and Randolph are gone then maybe we can put a fast team out on the floor that can actually play together and start winning some games....too many big contracts and bad attitudes on this squad, how will the team gel when we have all these "me first" players on the roster....once we get rid of all these lazy overpaid players then we will be in business !!!
Few people know what doing Adriana Lima in her youth. Quite by accident I found a curious video. In her biography about this is nothing!
Such an abomination, I not expected. I thought she decent girl! I still do not believe in something that saw!

I think about this must know everyone!
