Walsh is a senile old man. The NBA has passed him by. For some reason he's basing his decisions on the abilities of the lame roster that he inherited instead of looking to blow it up and starting from scratch.

I am not down on Walsh
but i think that he is either disillusioned
or disingenuous

Zach has only been on the team one year
so if walsh wants to give him a shot
well maybe i can see that

but Starbury

this cat has been here for years
destroying team chemistry
being selfish and a malcontent

we knick fans have all seen what marbury is!

so if walsh is so smart how come he can't?

so what he is making 20 mil this year
dolan wipes his butt with money
20 mil for him his like 100$ for me

if you are building a new regime
with a new philosophy
how can you bring back
one of the main symbols
and catalyst for all the things
that make the knicks an awful team?

if this a new era
lets start new and cancer free

with marbury we are not going to playoffs
without marbury we are not going to the playoffs
so what is the difference?

lets open the windows and let some
fresh air in!

You guys really need to relax. You sound silly.
Didn't you learn in school to back up your ideas and/or opinions with facts? I pose this question to you all that are making idiotic statements about Walsh.
What would you do with Marbury?
Here, let me answer that for you.......
Trade him..........Sorry but there is nobody out there that will trade anything for Marbury. He makes so much money, you cannot find a team in the league that will trade 22 million dollars worth of salary to us. Besides, the only reason someone would want Marbury is because of his expiring contract. HELLO!!!!!!!!!! Why would we give another team a shot at wiping 22 mill off their books when we can do that?
Hello....Mcfly? Hello...... Mcfly?
Keep Marbury and let that 22 mill come off the books. Nobody is going to trade us expiring contracts for another expiring contract. What is wrong with you people?

Buy him out...........Sorry but that's not happening either. It's common sense that Marbury is still a good player. Yes, he is a cancer and jerk and he is a back stabber but why just give him 22 million and let him go play for another team? Probably the Celtics who are in our conference. (Or the Heat) He would love to come back to the Garden and kill us anytime he can. Plus I think Marbs has to agree with a buyout. You can't just buy someone out without their blessing.

There is no rush here. Let time take it's course. We currently have 29 million coming off the books for next year. Marbs and Rose are coming off the books. If we can trade Zach before the deadline for expiring deals than we would have over 40 million coming the books after this year.

You guys have to look at the big picture here.
Stop crying and just watch how Donnie works.
Or start throwin out some of your own ideas so we can all make fun of you and how dumb you sound.

"I have a name for my pain......and it is Batman"
That's not from Dark Knight...it's actually from the original Batman with Jack Nicholson, who may I add was not better than Heath Ledger playing DaJoka.

@Dajoka

walsh in his own
press conference said that
team chemistry is extremely important

so in walsh's own words
how does retaining marbury
help with team chemistry?

what would i do if i was walsh?

i would deactivate starbury like
the clippers did to tim thomas

when the Clips found a way to move thomas
in a trade they did but until then
they let him sit at home and
collect his money

if they bought him out i wouldn't be mad
about that either
let him go to another team
and ruin their chemistry
its not like they have never done it
before (does steve francis ring a bell)

now if you want to follow walsh's
decisions and moves blindly
you have the right to do that

but i was critical of isiah
and will also be critical of walsh

and frankly i was not too fond of how
walsh handled the pacers
in his later years
(i know larry bird was working with walsh
but indiana newspapers say that a lot of the
bad trades the pacers made in the
last couple of years were walsh's decision)

he was not my first choice
(if i was dolan i would have hired coangelo)
but walsh is here and i will
support him but i will treat him
just like i treated isiah

with a skeptical eye

"i would deactivate starbury like
the clippers did to tim thomas"

Who says Walsh isn't going to do that?

NYC
"but i was critical of isiah
and will also be critical of walsh"

Well you might as well call yourself a critic then right?
If you were critical of Zeke when he did it his way, which by the way was to rush trades and free agent signings.

Walsh is the complete opposite of that. He takes his time and actually doesn't let the media pressure him into doing anything dumb like signing Jerome James. People say, "well Isiah had to get a center and James was the only one out there that was coming off a solid year and playoffs." If he would've just been patient we wouldn't of signed James and we would've got Curry not long after.

NYC there is only 2 ways of going about it.
The Isiah way better known as the impatient way or
The Walsh way better known as the patient way.
If you criticize both, you will never be satisfied right?

We need a shot blocker but you don't see Walsh going out making a rush trade to land one right?

It's ok to be skeptical because we have a history here of taking people with plenty credentials and honor and turning them into nothing. Larry Brown, Lenny WIlkens, Isiah Thomas....the list goes on. All I'm saying is relax and let Walsh do what he has to do.

@Dajoka

hey i want walsh to succeed

i just hate marbury getting his way
he wanted isiah gone and he's gone
but marbury was also a big part of the problem

i don't trust marbury
and i don't want him to
contaminate the new season

if walsh thinks he can trust him
then i say have at it
but if he has any hesitation
or skepticism about marbury
i hope he makes his decsion
based on whats best for the knicks team
and not based on how much money
marbury is making

the knicks really don't have a leader
and that is another reason why i
wanted the knicks to start fresh

i didn't like isiah's rash moves
but i also think walsh is being too patient
i would like a balance between the two

i have not liked the knicks management style
since dave checketts was fired

layden sucked
isiah sucked
and now donny walsh is up to bat
so yeah i am a little skeptical
the knicks have had years of bad management...LOL

I'll take Donnie Walsh over an Isles hockey writer every single time.

The team voted marbury of the island last year except he was holding the immunity idol (Zeke). I said this before, to see what this team can actually do together you must play out the first few months (minus starbury). But marbury has to go on the FACT that he is an idiot. His talk show interview, his court room getsures and antics, his calling berman to threaten isiah and the knicks through the Post. C'mon Dajoka no need to insult those who see marbury leaving and being bought out as addition by subtraction. No one would criticize Walsh or Dolan for eating that cash. And as far as Steph going to another team in the east. I wish he could spend 3 weeks on every Atlantic conference team this season except ours.

just bloggin

@ Alan -

Starberman is reporting Mar-baby is still eyeing playing in Milan when his contract is out.

Is there any way to have Milan pick up his remaining contract and ship him over there this year? What, if any, rules are in place for this type of situation?

There's a good chance Walsh is just "talking his book" on Marbury here. Meaning, he's long Marbury, would like to get flat, but needs somebody to buy him out of the position. Kinda like Tom Sawyer and the fence - get somebody else to whitewash it for you.

This is the central test of the Walsh - D'Antoni era though. Get it right. Isn't it sad that Marbury has become the Horror-that-Destroys-Franchises and the first job of every GM is to exorcise him from the team? Can these guys really think they can float him until Feb and some team will change their mind about acquiring him? A dangerous gamble. Especially when you won't take back contracts longer than two years. Dangerous.

I'm fine with everything else Walsh has done so far, however, this will trump all.

Oh, just eat the contract and get rid of Marbury. He's a loser, a crybaby, and a bum. Always has been. Never gonna change.

I can't get the vdeos to play. Is anyone else haviing this problem?

Any solutions?

dont post anymore videos they never work, its really annoying..

Trade Zach

Bulljive

What's worse,

that I can't see or hear the video, or that I've been trying to for 2 weeks?

Knicks junkie.
