Alas, Frederic Weis, we hardly knew ye

The Knicks have traded the rights to Frederic Weis to Houston for rookie forward Patrick Ewing Jr., ending the first-round bust's infamous non-career here.

So we thought it would be a good time to walk down memory lane and dig up one of the most humiliating moments in sports history, starring Mr. Weis himself.

There was no way Frederic was coming to the U.S. after his face to junk encounter with Vince Carter. STILL hilarious!

Are you guys sure we should give this guy up? He's a legit 7 footer. Walsh is a fool to let him go.....

Maybe now that he is off the roster, Jerome James will see some daylight. Clearly Weiss was taking up all his playing time at the center spot.

BIG SNACKS!

Fred Weis...LOL

that was one of the greatest dunks of all time.

that was when Vince Carter
was half man-half amazing
now VC is half man-half a season...LOL

but damn...that was an incredible dunk.

i am excited that Ewing jr will get a shot
to make the team.

BIG SNACKS!"

A coffin is 10 feet long, but height alone does not make anything good for playing basket ball!

Unlike Jerome (Jessy) James, at least Fredrick Weiss actually moves on a basketball court. All JJJ does is eat and steal his giant salary for doing nothing!

Honestly, Donnie Walsh will be remembered by Fixer Nation forever as The Exorcist, because I am now confident he will leave no stone unturned in completely remaking the image and culture of this franchise.

it's a little weird.

It's an obvious gesture of respect to Ewing Sr to send Ewing Jr to the Knicks, rather than Cut Him. What a scary powerhouse Houston has become when Joe Dorsey is your odd man out for PT! Yao now has Scola on to his left, Artest to his right and Tmac in the backcourt along with many, many more options for PG!!!!!!
That team has "CHIP" written all over it!

Knicks Fan - I was joking. Weiss has never played for the knicks so he can't keep James on the bench. Snacks takes care of that all by himself.

Whether Junior makes it or not, note that Walsh didn't bring in a shooter - he brought in a worker. A guy who's thing will be to defend, screen, rebound, move the ball and slash to the rim for dunks. That's a good thing.

If only Dorsey came too!
