Castillo stats are almost identical to Easley's. This is largely a case of perception and should be a texbook definition of correlation versus causation. Is anyone seriously telling me that taking Castillo out of the lineup is what caused the Mets to start winning? Let him play for a week and if he's not getting it done, sit him. But the levels of hysteria over a guy with a .300 lifetime BA who was hitting .262 before he got hurt is crazy.

hit him 8th
he didn't produce well in the 2nd spot at the beginning, so why put him there now? He didn't even hit that well in the minors before coming up also...
