I like everything that has happened since Jerry became manager. He has put life back in the team.
I think the key young players are A. Reyes and Murphy. They would have never been given a chance with Willie. Willie head was bigger that his body and he was too players with large contracts.
I was pleasantly surprised that getting rid of Peterson as pitching coach actually has also helped.

Since Cancel never starts and is horrible pinch hitting and we have Murphy and A Reyes to do that can they demote him and have us bring up a pitching to help in the pen? I am sure we would be better with 12 on the team then 11.
I would hope that when Church and Castillo come back that they would not demote Evans/Murphy/A Reyes even if it would be until Sept 1st. Come Sept 1st hopefully Trot Nixon gets called up also.
