Make that 70-30
Mike Pelfrey just walked the first two batters he faced, Brian Roberts and Melvin Mora, on a total of nine pitches. David Wright visited the mound after he fell behind, 2-0, to Mora but it didn't help.
***** UPDATE: Nice recovery by Big Pelf. He whiffed Nick Markakis by blowing a fastball by him and then got Kevin Millar to bounce into a tidy 6-4-3 double play. It's on.
Have to take a break from blogging. Time to talk to El Duque.

Even before Pelfrey wilted and blew the game in the ninth, the Orioles' announcers were mightily impressed with El Duque, noting he kept batters off stride. They referred to Pelfrey as "laboring." Looks like El Duque in the No. 5 starter. Hope that high leg kick can be maintained...
David-
In light of Duque's performance today I guess the Claudio Vargas talk will die down...but any word/whispers of Omar pursuing someone outside the organization for the last spot on the bench/outfield? Tatis, I think we'll all agree, isnt an outfielder and really isnt much of a hitter either. Matt Murton is VERY available and altho he's not gold glover either, the guys hes replacing (Tatis, Clark, Pagan) arent great fielders either. Endy is going to be in the game in the late innings regardlss. So, any word on Omar looking at Murton?
