Really? You think so? Well, if Milledge keeps going 3 for 3, they may not miss him....he may have to work to get back in the lineup, though I guess if Green isn't hitting, there may be a spot for him.
Forget about Alou. It's time to see if Milledge is finally ready to be one of the "big boys". At the very least, platoon him with Chavez when he gets back.
I agree with NYM31: Enough of the AARP players, go with Milledge and Chavez platoon and plan now for replacements next year for Glavine, Green and Valentin. Even El Duque is a wrong twist away from a lengthy DL stay. We can be an excellent team and a legitmate chance to win the Series if we start retiring the old farts and bring in yonger blood.
