Milledge on DL

red cross.jpgLastings Milledge was placed on the minor-league disabled list today after he was diagnosed with a strained ligament in his right foot. Milledge was batting .333 (13-for-39) with a double, home run and five RBI in 11 games at Triple-A New Orleans. His seven-game hitting streak ended Monday, when he was forced to leave the game in the second inning because of foot discomfort. Milledge flew back to New York and had further tests, including an MRI, on Wednesday.

aahhh! the sky is falling! his hitting streak is over! he couldn't stay up in the bigs! quick, package him and Pelfrey in a deal while he has any value!!

I agree. Maybe we can get Victor Zambrano back.

Seriously, what is wrong with some of you?

A loss to the Rockies and we need changes?

20 games into the season?

Mookie: Bill Buckner is waiting for in the bathroom.
Something about a score to settle, he was heated.

Pat Zachry?

Pete Falcone is lookin' good.

Score to settle with me?

He should have put his glove on the ground like we were all taught when we were in T-Ball.

How about Craig Swan?

Chicken Little,

It's a good idea! Craig Swan, unfortunately was on some lousy Mets teams, could pitch. Pelfrey is on a great team and a "wait and see" pitcher...but not too long!

Mike Torrez line two.

Bill Buckner see's Mookie in his sleep running towards him, smiling.
And he is wearing a FredBird t-shirt.

Rick Ownbey, the flushing flash-- not only could pitch, but he could "throw" a hotdog farther than anyone I have ever seen as a former hotdog vendor at Shea.
Give him a call, he is left-handed I believe?
