the only fool is you.
hey newsday, give me bob's ip. i want to fight him.

back in 1896 the us ship maine was sunk by the spanish army.tonight the maine goes down again

what a pathetic dork

Willie was bound and determined to lose yesterdays game. He kept Maine in 2 innings too long and he kept some of the relievers in too long. In game one of the NLDs he pulled Maine at the first sign of trouble. Yesterday he allowed him 2 more innings. Now we go to SL with an even series and our shaky pitching staff in disarray. I can only hope that the Mets step up and set the tone by crushing the ball tonight but I am suddenly shaken. I know my team can score a ton of runs, but I'm also sure my pitching can give them right back. Its up to Willie to recognize when a pitcher is not throwing strikes or when the hitters are tatooing him. Even hitting a ton of foul balls is a sign of the hitters catching up. And after 4 hitters last night with 12 pitch counts, Willie should have had a quicker hook. I'm not going to cry about injuries but it seems like the ball is in the cards court right now. I would call tonight a must win.Lets go Mets......And Willie, if you are reading any of this, pull em a bit sooner. Please. I was there in 86 and I really want to see you take it all again this year.

This was a game that Willie lost. All was well until the 7 th inning, Cliff Floyds injurie reared its ugly head when shawn Green could not come up with Spezios triple.

Then things got weirder in the eigth inning when Randolph decided to bat Julio Franco to lead off the eigth, I could not fathom why he would do that.

Julio is no longer a long ball threat. He is a single hitter at best, if he was to reach first base his chances of reaching home on a double is about nill.

Was Randolf planning to bring in Hernandez to run for Franco? What if the game was to go on to the 15th inning, was he planning on leaving Castro and Tucker as his only replacement options.

The most puzzling piece to this loss was the decision to bring Wagner in the ninth of a tie game.
