I thought someone would bust their ass on the wet tarp.
In 1986, I was a nine-year-old diehard who's mother took him out of school to hang from a street sign to watch the tickertape parade. It's one of the greatest memories of my life and to duplicate that this year would require my wife's permission
It was a nice ceremony...the parachute was a nice touch!
The theme of the 1986 reunion should have been:
EVERYBODY IS FAT BUT MOOKIE.
Anyone else think that Mookie sounds and looks like the guy from the Red Stripe Beer Commercials?

If Mike Visosky fights! As Met fans we fight with him! We will stand beside him through anything. Even through a boycott of his music albums in Pakistan, and the trouble he had in the Tour de France.
I disagree with one of the writers re: "Everyone Is Fat but Mookie". Teufel,Aggie,HoJo,& Heep looked pretty good as well
