In the fourth and fifth outfielders spots, what you need is a guy that can get a big extra base hit, especially in the playoffs, and Preston is nasty at Shea! He's old, he gets hurt, he's this, he's that is all fine when you talk long term contract but for a few months at the cost of no prospects, you better believe he's going to be an improvement over Ledee and Tucker.
