Did Tom Brady cheer when Tom Brady got hurt?

091008tombrady.jpgHere’s a humorous side note to Curt Schilling’s rant yesterday that “the Yankees suck” so “New York’s excited” that Tom Brady suffered a season-ending knee injury: The Patriots’ MVP quarterback is a Yankees fan!

Brady was spotted by the Boston Herald last year wearing a Yankees cap.

In 2001, Drew Henson, Brady’s former teammate at Michigan who also briefly played for the Yankees, outed Brady to reporters: “Tom’s a huge baseball fan and a big Yankee fan,” Henson said.

Scuttlebutt has it that Brady used to wear his Yankees cap around the Pats locker room until he was told not to.

So using Schilling’s logic, Tom Brady is happy that Tom Brady got hurt.

In the opinion of this Red Sox fan, Curt Schilling should never ever be allowed near a microphone. He is an utter wacko who exploits his uncanny ability to win playoff games for ridiculous soapbox banter. Every time he opens his mouth they should que the orchestra like they do in award shows. Also, please do not hold all of the Nation accountable for what the tabloid rag Herald has to say. That would be like me believing anything written in the sports section of the Post. The beauty of being a sports fan is you always get to root for your team. Wether you are a BC Superfan at the Carrier Dome or you are Tom Brady, another man with an uncanny ability to win playoff games, who plays football in New England and roots for the Yankess.
