Checking in again with the New York Olympians...
So last night was another late night for me, as I have full-fledged Olympics fever. First, Michael Phelps continued to kick tail in the pool. Then, the team of rooks on the men's gymnastics team pulls off a bronze in the team event. USA!!! USA!!! USA!!!!
Our New York fencers did a fantastic job in the men's individual sabre event. Jason Rogers and Tim Morehouse went two rounds each. Rogers then met Keeth Smart in the second round, and Smart fell in the quarterfinals. Fear not, fencing fans. The men's team event, which the guys were most jazzed for, takes place this Sunday, and can be seen here.
