Meet David Freedlander

David Freedlander’s great weakness is horse race politics and weeps at the sight of people lining up to vote. Like H.L Mencken, he thinks a national political campaign is better than the best circus ever heard of, with a mass baptism and a couple of hangings thrown in. This 30-year-old reporter can be found hanging around City Hall most of the time, speculating on who is going to seek higher office.
