Well, after a wild 2 weeks of politics, politics and more politics, I am finally back home in New York.
It's an amazing and exhausting experience getting up each day and frantically drawing and debating and blogging and videoing and drawing and debating and blogging some more.
Everywhere I turned I seemed to run into someone interesting from the political world. From Sam Donaldson almost knocking me over in Denver to Henry Kissinger walking past me in a bathroom in the Excel Center. I had a chance to chat with Spike Lee and Tom Brokaw, Wolf Blitzer, David Gregory and Allan Combs. I bumped into Jeb Bush and even met a Republican delegate in a bar who whispered that he was actually voting for Obama.
Weird, wild and fun.
I will certainly miss the adrenaline rush of the conventions but It is awesome to not have a deadline tonight and to be able to go out for sushi with my wife.
I hope you've all enjoyed the posts. I'm going to start working on a new animation over the weekend so stay posted.
