Best: Q. It broke down once every 376,877 miles.
Worst: G. It broke down five times as often, once every 69,361 miles.
Cleanliness:
Best: B. 6 percent of cars were too dirty.
Worst: F. It was five times dirtier, at 32 percent of cars too dirty.
Getting a seat on the busiest part of the line:
Best: G. 84 percent chance during rush hour.
Worst: W. 30 percent chance.
Most scheduled service:
Best: 6 and 7. 2.5 minutes between trains during the morning rush.
Worst: M and W. 10 minutes between trains all day.
Service Regularity:
Best: G. It arrived with regularity 91% of the time.
Worst: 5. It arrived with regularity 81 percent of the time.
In-car announcements:
Best: 5. It missed no announcements.
Worst: D and Q. They missed announcements 18 percent of the time.
