It continues to pour outside with an hour left before the evening rush begins.
Deidre Parker, a New York City Transit spokeswoman, says that the rain hasn’t caused any delays and the subways are ready for the commute home.
Let’s hope so… It just takes a little rain to throw the system into chaos.
